Chapter 6 – Meeting Enemy On The Road

“Miss, where do you want to go?” MoQi Ling Xuan looked at the delicate and indifferent little girl. For the first time, he had doubted about his appearance. Every girl would stop and took many looks at his handsome face, why was it that this girl in front of him would look at him with disgust? Was there something wrong with him today?

“Sir, our miss is heading towards the capital.” Mother Lin replied with a smile when moving towards the carriage.

“Oh, such a coincidence, I am also heading towards the capital. This journey is not that smooth, why not we accompany each other?” MoQi Ling Xuan asked as he smiled gently.

“Old servant is just a servant, I do not dare to decide for the Miss!” Mother Lin was controlling her last bit of sensibility, that was why she did not nod her head immediately.

“If sir feels that it is convenient, then let’s go to the capital together.” Ling Xuan answered without much feeling while inside the carriage, but she was having a mocking smile on her face which Mother Lin did not notice.

In her past life, because she was rushing back to the capital, she had only brought along the horse keeper, Mother Lin, and Cha-er. In the end on the road, the horse went crazy and she couldn’t find anyone to help her.

When she and Cha-er cried uncontrollably, MoQi Ling Xuan appeared. He appeared like a hero in front of her, letting his people to solve the injured horse issue and then accompanied them back to the capital… Of course, on the way to the capital, he had always acted as the hero, plus Mother Lin kept talking about how good he was. When they reached the capital and found out his real identity, she admired him and respected him, which led to the tragedy in the end.

Some things could not be avoided and she had to face it calmly.

‘MoQi Ling Xuan, do you think I will be as foolish as my past life, allowing you to scheme me? You are so wrong.’ She wanted to let him know, she would definitely take her blood revenge.

Upon hearing the voice in the carriage, Mother Lin and MoQi Ling Xuan looked at each other. Their eyes were sparkling with happiness, and then they did not speak a word, pretending that they did not know each other.

With the addition of MoQi Ling Xuan, their journey had very few words. There was only the horse walking sound.

The whole journey was very rushed. Mother Lin tried to persuade Ling Xuan to get down the carriage for a rest, but Ling Xuan would always reject her, saying she wanted to get to the capital immediately… Since MoQi Ling Xuan joined them on the journey, she never got down the carriage.

“Miss, there are still two days before reaching the capital. We can just speed up the journey at night. About the day after tomorrow, we will be able to reach the capital gate just before the gate closes.” Mother Lin reported the current schedule. This journey was very rush and she had lost a lot of weight.

Did not eat and rest enough, the Miss had also lost a lot of weight.

“Alright, let’s stop in front for a rest. Let everyone eat some dried food, and then rush back to the capital through the night without stopping.” Ling Xuan instructed calmly.

“Yes.” Mother Lin immediately informed everyone on what the Miss had instructed. Everyone was saying their backs were aching and were they rushing to death.

“Miss, there is a stream in front, Should Servant let someone to boil some water? Miss’s lips are so dry.” Cha-er asked with heartache.

“Alright” Ling Xuan did not say much. These few days they had been rushing on the road, she felt that she was about to go crazy from the torture.

She did not speak much. She just kept rushing on the road, thinking about the things that happened in her past life. In this lifetime would it happen again?

The carriage stopped moving and Ling Xuan was still resting in the carriage. Cha-er instructed Da Chang to go boil some water for the Miss and Mother Lin took out some food that she prepared… Everything looked so peaceful.
